PhD project description

The proposed PhD project aims to:

  1. Establish the ribosomal Nm landscape of metastatic prostate cancer using RiboMethSeq, and characterize the evolution of Nm signatures during prostate cancer progression
  2. Define the relationship between altered ribosomal methylation and RNA editing and the underlying genomic and transcriptomic changes in metastatic PCa
  3. Identify specific Nm and A-to-I marks that may contribute to therapy resistance in advanced prostate cancer

Expected results:

Defined prognostic markers for metastatic PCa associated with progression and invasion
